Bolle’s OnDance beaks records: classic and contemporary classes sell out in minutes

Classical and contemporary open classes sold out within minutes of online registration opening for the new edition of OnDance, the program created by étoile Roberto Bolle that brings dance to the streets of Milan. Since its first edition in 2018, the event has grown significantly, and the 2024 edition promises to be a record-breaker.

Bolle’s bet has truly paid off. Demand for the event was so high on August 20th, when registration opened at 9 AM, that the website crashed and was only restored an hour later. But it took just a few minutes for the classical and contemporary dance classes to fill up, including the waitlists.

A rich and varied program will take place from September 4th to 8th under the Madonnina. The program includes open-air classes, dance parties, special events, and talks. (SEE FULL PROGRAM BELOW).

There is great anticipation for the most evocative event, the Ballo in Bianco (White Ball), which is the largest ballet barre class in the world. As usual, it will be held in Piazza Duomo and will be broadcast live on Rai 1 starting at 9:40 AM.

All eyes are on dance as the season kicks off. The program also includes yoga, pilates, tango, hip hop, stretching, and African dance.
