Ludovico Einaudi is returning to the Arena di Verona
Ludovico Einaudi is returning to the Arena di Verona. On July 10th. This concert marks ten years since his unforgettable performance in 2014 and over a decade since the release of his iconic album ‘In A Time Lapse‘.
Einaudi will perform the album’s evocative tracks with a new interpretation and a brand new instrumental ensemble. “I chose ‘In A Time Lapse’ partly to celebrate its tenth anniversary and partly because it is still a very relevant project. Several tracks have become classics of mine, such as Experience, which I often play. Depending on the ensemble I play with, I stitch it together and reinvent it each time”, Einaudi said.
The concert will feature Federico Mecozzi on piano and Redi Hasa on violin and viola. Rocco Nigro will play the cello and electric cello, Alberto Fabris on accordion, Sebastiano De Gennaro on electric bass and synth bass, Gianluca Mancini on percussion, and Francesco Arcuri on live electronics and multi-instrumentalist. Einaudi’s 2024 starts with three concerts in January at the Dubai Opera House, Hegra in Saudi Arabia, and the Esplanade in Singapore. He will then move on to Australia in February for a sold-out five-concert residency at the Sydney Opera House, three at the Perth Festival, and the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne. A tour of major old theaters such as Vienne and Carcassonne is taking shape in the summer.
